Susan Schiekofer, Chief Digital Investment Officer for GroupM North America, will sit for an intimate interview on how the digital buying process is continuing to innovate.

Our opening market overview will be presented by the always-dynamic and insightful Geoff Ramsey, Chief Innovation Officer & Co-Founder of eMarketer.

We’ll have a focused conversation with Michael Lebowitz, Founder & CEO of award-winning creative agency Big Spaceship, on creating and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Bridges Insight founder Dr. Kumar Mehta, successful entrepreneurial CEO, Microsoft veteran and author of “The Innovation Biome” will speak on how innovation can thrive on an everyday basis and what you can do as a manager to make it so.

Susan Schiekofer
Chief Digital Investment Officer, GroupM North America

Susan is responsible for digital trading and implementation across all of GroupM’s agencies including Mindshare, MEC, MediaCom, Maxus and Essence.

Her digital skill set and broad knowledge of trading best practices across all media formats ensures that GroupM leads the market with the best, most valuable, and accountable digital solutions for clients. She is also figurative in GroupM’s efforts to improve the integrity of the digital marketplace by championing viewability, anti-fraud safeguards, measurement, and standards.

Schiekofer has been a leader in the digital media space since 1994.

Chief Innovation Officer & Co-Founder, eMarketer

As chief innovation officer and co-founder of eMarketer, Geoff has rich insights and a big-picture perspective of how consumers spend their time and money, and how marketers are striving to reach them. In this role, he helps develop innovative ways to display and personalize eMarketer’s industry-standard marketing research.

Ramsey received the 2011 ad:tech Industry Achievement Award, honoring individuals who have demonstrated consistent outstanding service, generated breakthrough ideas and fostered industry growth. His book, “Digital Impact: The Two Secrets to Online Marketing Success” (Wiley, 2011), co-authored with Vipin Mayar, has earned critical praise from industry leaders.

Michael Lebowitz
Founder & CEO, Big Spaceship

Big Spaceship is a globally-recognized agency and MediaPost’s OMMA Agency of the Year for 2018. Since launching in 2000, Michael has defined the strategy and vision for Big Spaceship, working closely with clients like Bloomberg, Converse, Google Play, Google Maps, Hasbro, JetBlue, Nestle-Purina, Samsung, Starbucks, Under Armour, and YouTube.

Michael has assembled “a crack team of digital inventors,” according to Fast Company’s “Most Innovative Companies” list, and has led the company to be named Advertising Age and Crain’s New York Business “Best Places to Work”. Big Spaceship’s multidisciplinary team structure and progressive culture have twice been studied by Harvard Business School, with the case studies now taught in 40 countries.

Founder, Bridges Insight

Dr. Kumar Mehta is the author of “The Innovation Biome”, and the founder of Bridges Insight, an innovation think-tank.

Kumar worked at Microsoft for fourteen years and was the CEO of a large data analytics company for a decade. He is now focused on researching and educating organizations about the principles of innovation. The simple premise behind his work is that when companies innovate, all of our lives get better.

Kumar also serves as a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for the Digital Future at the University of Southern California and is active as a board member for the Committee for Children, a global nonprofit dedicated to fostering the safety and well-being of children.

Christie Hartbarger
VP, Executive Recruiter, Strategy Source

Christie is a veteran digital sales executive who transitioned a passion for finding great talent into a career as an executive recruiter.

For over 20 years, she had the privilege of building teams and driving revenue for companies such as CBSi, Time Inc., YuMe and Cardlytics. Career highlights include helping to tame the unchartered waters of OTT at YuMe and convincing the editor of TIME Magazine to create a stand-alone music issue for a Toyota Camry launch.
